<br> <p><p> </p><p></p><p>Mission</p></p><br> <br> <p><p>•To enhance the social and spiritual lives of those who have been affected by alcohol, drugs, or other addictions by providing a safe, substance-free, and welcoming environment for individuals and groups seeking to strengthen their recovery.</p><p></p><p>•To provide a drop-in center staffed by volunteers. The center will offer support, education, information, and referrals to community services and other opportunities. The center will also offer recreation, both planned and informal.</p><p></p><p></p><p>We provide to all citizens in recovery regardless of age, race, religion, political or sexual orientation a drop-in center located in the historical birthplace of "Dr. Bob, Co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous. </p><p></p><p>Trained volunteers and paid coordinators will staff the Kingdom Recovery Center, supervised by the board of directors, and governed by their by-laws. The staff, officers, directors, and members will consist of people in recovery, community volunteers, as well as professionals in the field of addictions treatment, and anyone interested in the center's activities. </p><p></p><p>Our Center endeavors to enrich the lives of people in all stages of recovery, and their families, friends and neighbors who have been adversely affected by addictions. The Center will provide a safe, substance-free, and welcoming environment, conducive of fellowship and community re-integration. The Center will encourage and offer space for self-help and Twelve Step programs and groups to meet in order to extend the concept of a caring community. The Center will have frequent social activities to further these goals.</p><p></p><p></p><p>The Kingdom Recovery Center is founded on true non-denominational spiritual healing and compassion.
